I was enjoying the beach in Bermuda when I turned around to see a simple set of footprints in the sand. It reminded me of my favorite poem, "Footprints."

I was in Virginia with my husband's family and we discovered a little beach. Along the beach were a set of footprints in the sand, but there was no one around. This reminded me of my favorite poem, "Footprints."

Julia Pfeiffer Falls

When visiting friends in Monterey, CA, they took me to see this beach. It was once privately owned. When it was given to the state the only condition was that it was to remain private, so not to disturb the natural beauty of the beach. That is why no one is allowed on the beach. We can only take pictures from the cliff on the opposite side.

Devil's Hopyard Waterfall

Devil's Hopyard is a nice park located near Groton, CT. This waterfall is located in the park.

I love to sit at the base of this waterfall and just watch the water.

Acadia National Park

This is a beautiful park in Maine.

Stillness On The Lake

I love to be in the Adirondacks when it is a beautiful, sunny, calm day. The reflection on the water is amazing.

This is the view from the end of the dock on Lake Eaton.

Bluff Point

There is a park located in Groton, CT. It is about a 2 mile walk to this point along the trail.

I love to see the colors of the spring or fall reflect off the water.

My husband and I went for a hike on one of the many trails in the Adirondacks. At one point we had to cross this stream.

This is my favorite sunset picture. I was on a cruise with my sister when I saw this beautiful sunset.

Clouds Of A Sunset

During the cruise with my sisters I saw a beautiful sunset. It went through many different shapes and colors. The clouds during the sunset were amazing. In this case it looks as though the sky was opening up.

This was the beginning of the beautiful sunset I saw on the cruise with my sisters. It was amazing to see how faint the colors started and how they became so vibrant.

This beautiful tree was in full bloom at Longwood Gardens in PA.

Longwood Gardens is a beautiful park that has many different plant, trees, fountains, and streams.

This path leads to the waterfall in Devil's Hopyard.

The Lone Cypress

In Monterey, CA there is a 17 mile drive along the coast. During the drive you pass many beautiful homes and view. You also pass the Lone Cypress. This is a 200 year cypress tree that has weathered many storms. They are hoping this tree will last another 100 years.

Pfeiffer State Park

While exploring the CA coast with my friends they took me to Pfeiffer State Park. It is a beautiful state park that is full of Red Wood Trees, which I have never seen before.

Orchid

Longwood Garden has inside and outside gardens. This orchid lived inside one of the many green houses.

Cherry Blossom Tree

These trees live in Longwood Gardens in PA.

Lily

These lilies, like the orchid, live in one of the green houses in Longwood Gardens.

Bunch Of Redwood Trees

While hiking through Pfeiffer State Park we walked through redwood trees. It was beautiful.

Red Tulip Garden

This garden of red tulips is part of Longwood Gardens.

Calla Lily

The pair of yellow calla lilies are also part of Longwood Gardens in PA.

Redwood Tree

In Pfeiffer State Park there were hundreds of redwood trees. I had so much fun comparing myself to a redwood. Redwoods are very large trees.

This garden of multi-colored tulips were all over Longwood Gardens.

Palm Tree

This palm tree lives in Bermuda.

My family went apple picking in an orchard near New Haven last fall.
